Stanford Hospital Steam to LTHW Conversion Study Phase 1

Stanford Hospital Steam to LTHW Conversion Study Phase 1

The scope includes energy modeling and development of a high level concept desing of Steam to LTHW conversion for four buildings, including the 1.5 million sq.ft. existing hospital, the 250,000 sq.ft. Lucile Parkard Children Hospital, the 235,000 sq.ft. Advanced Medicine Cancer Center, and School of Medicine’s Falk Center.  Utility bills and consumption data were used in calibrating the initial energy models prior to testing the effectiveness of the proposed Steam-to-LTHW Conversion.  The final deliverables include 8760 hour energy profiles for both current and projected conditions after conversion. Concept routing of new LTHW distribution was included in the study for cost estimating.
